Paul D. Bowers

Paul Bowers has over 35 years experience in aviation, from military radar technician to federal regulatory staffer to 25+ years as operations manager, airport manager, and director of aviation at major airports in three states. As statewide aviation director for the Alaska Department of Transportation, Mr. Bowers coordinated airport development and master planning, leasing, operations, regulatory compliance, and security functions for 259 state operated airports. Mr. Bowers has extensive experience in airport management and operations in Alaska, including airport terminal development and remodels, to airfield infrastructure and related environmental husbandry. Mr. Bowers has been directly responsible for tens of millions of dollars of airport construction, from new terminal construction to remodeling to multiple runways, taxiway, and other airfield projects, multiple Airport Master Plans, and he has coordinated overall funding for additional multiple hundreds of millions of dollars in airport related construction all in compliance with multiple state and federal regulations.
